Testing your web site

After you configured your SiteLink web template, you will be given several SiteLink web template URL links. You put them into your own web site where you want to link to. When users click those links, users are redirected to SiteLink web template for managing their accounts and making reservations.

To do tests, first you create a test tenant account, then do one or more move-ins for that account. After you get ready a test account, you go to your SiteLink web template, register that tenant using gate access code and unit name, set the e-mail address and password for logon.

To test online payment function, you need have an Authorize.Net account or a PPI PayMover account ready, and set up the Login ID and the Transaction Key or Token, check the box of "Put your account in Test Mode" in Web Template Configuration of Corporate Control Center. After you test the payment process successfully, you uncheck the box of "Put your account in Test Mode" to make the online payment live. Remember to turn off the Test Mode on your merchant terminal of Authorize.Net.

For making reservations or appointments, you do not need a test tenant so that both exist or new customers can make reservations. Just click the Reservation button on the header of the web page, fill required information, click Appointment link or select type of units and then click Review button. Now you can select the Edit, Start Over, or the Reserve button. If the test is successfully, you should see both tenant and site manager receive a reservation email or appoint request email. In real business, the site manager need contact the person who sent the email to confirm and validate the reservation.
